Robert F. Kenavan, 72, of Duncannon, PA, passed away on September 17, 2024 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Catherine Morris Kenavan, who passed away in 2004. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Francis J., Sr. and Mary McKeon Kenavan.

Robert had worked as a chef at the Riviera Tavern in Duncannon for nearly 20 years. Prior to this, he had been the owner and operator of a courier service in Lititz, PA, BJs Services.

He was a US Air Force veteran, serving as an Airman First Class during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed reading, was a New Orleans Saints and New York Mets fan, and loved his dog, Honey.

Robert is survived by his children: Garrett and his wife Sharon of Ephrata, and Christopher of Lancaster; 2 grandchildren, and his siblings: Carol F. Favor of Monroe Twp., NJ, Susan F. married to Philip Shenk of Stevens, Mary M. married to Robert Munro of Lewes, DE, James E. Kenavan of Newport, and Francis J., Jr. married to Kathleen Kenavan of Lititz, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and good friends at "The Rivie".

There will be a Gathering of Friends to celebrate Robert's life on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 1:30-3:30PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
