Robert E. Hartman, 70, of Lancaster, formerly of Mercersburg, PA passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Lancaster. Born in Waynesboro, PA he was the son of the late Richard A. and Virginia M. (Cowan) Hartman. He worked as a welder for Grove Manufacturing for over 12 years and most recently with JLG Industries. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing bingo and was a very skilled checkers player. He is survived by his daughter, Regina Hartman of Sebring, FL; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon, Brianna, Joshua; two brothers, Richard W. Hartman husband of Susan of Lititz, William N. Hartman husband of Carolyn of Chambersburg; sister, Helen S. "Susie" Buchanan of Mercersburg and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dena Mae Hartman and a son, Steven Ray Hartman. Funeral Services will be held at 7PM on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with Rev. Galen Weaver and Rev. Kevin Auker co-officiating. Family and friends will be received from 4-7PM at the funeral home on Sunday. Interment will be held in Park Lawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA on Monday at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert's memory may be made to Hamilton Arms Center, 336 S.
