Robert E. Fenton, 73, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Elwood and Geraldine (Simon) Fenton. He was the loving husband of Linda Ann (Mentini) with whom he shared 3 years of marriage. Bob was a quality control auditor for many years for electric and gas companies and most recently with PSEG out of New Jersey. He proudly served in the US Navy. Bob loved cooking, socializing, hunting, fishing, boating and eating Reese's peanut butter cups. Most of all he was a wonderful husband and family man. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Patricia Marie Harsh of Schaefferstown, PA, Robert E. Fenton, Jr. husband of Tracye L. of Lancaster, Matthew M. Fenton husband of Terri of Stevens, Judy Ann Tangert wife of Eric S., of Lititz. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Ann Boose who passed away in 2007 and a grandson. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30PM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
