Robert "Butch" C., Boyer, 71 of Lancaster, PA passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, June 4, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Ethel (Kreider) and Robert C. Boyer, Sr. He was the loving husband to Diane "Sherry" (Kirk) Boyer for over 52 years.

Robert, better known as Butch, was employed by Kerr Glass for over 19 years. He retired from Amerimax and most recently worked at Eastern Coach as a driver.

Butch had a love for Nascar racing. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan as well as the Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders. Butch was a member of Amvets Post 19 and the 8th Ward Club. Most of all he enjoyed providing for and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Brian Boyer (Shannon) of Hanover, PA; Christine Bradon (Greg) of Palm City, FL; Melissa Boyer (Dennis Kling) of East Petersburg, PA; and Jason Boyer (Crystal) of Lancaster; 9 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild; his sister Sharon Tankesley of Lancaster as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Ellen Huss.

A Celebration of Butch's Life will be held at 11AM, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of service.
