Robert G. "Bob" Pry, 91, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence. Born in Mifflin, PA, he was the husband of Donna (Crownover) Pry of Lancaster, and the son of the late Richard E. and Margaretta (Dumm) Pry. Bob was a proud Navy veteran of WWII. Prior to his military service, he was an aircraft spotter. He attended Calvary Church, Lancaster. He was employed in the field of mechanical dentistry, having worked 10 years for Ephrata Dental Lab and 10 years for Madonna Dental Lab. Bob was a family man who was active in various Christian ministries; music was an important part of his life. Along with his wife, he was a houseparent at House of His Creation, and he was an usher for Sight and Sound. In addition to his wife of 64 years, he is survived by 4 daughters: Norine McLean (Dale) of Lancaster, Michelle Keller (Ellwood) of St. Augustine FL, Lynn Blatt (Brian) of Bernville, and Julie Lutz (Deeter) of Columbia; one son, Frederick Pry (Dawn) of Warrenton, MO; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the funeral home, and again one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
