Robert L. "Bob" Bowman, 64, of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Dorothy Bowman Neiss. Bob was the loving husband of Cheryl A. Tucker Bowman. A veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Eagle River, Leola and Rebman Homes, Ephrata before his retirement. Bob had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and flounder fishing. He was a kindhearted man who could spark up a conversation with just about anyone. In his younger years he was an avid concert goer and his love for music never stopped. During his free time, he rooted for the Philadelphia Eagles and watched NASCAR.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Cheryl, are two children: Amy wife of Michael Gebhard, Jr., and Daniel husband of Janell Bowman, four grandchildren, Kailyn, Logan, Arabella, Keegan and a brother, Carl Neiss.
