IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert G.
Bingeman
July 23, 2015
Robert G. Bingeman, 81, of Lancaster, passed away at Brethren Village on Thursday, July 23, 2015. Born in Lititz, he was the son of the late William E. and Ada E. (Groff) Bingeman. Bob was the loving husband of Ada M. (Abell) Bingeman, with whom he recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. Following his high school graduation, Bob went on to proudly serve in the US Navy during the Korean War era. After being honorably discharged Bob worked as a salesman and most recently had worked for United Zion Retirement Community until his retirement. Bob was also the owner and operator of Bingeman's Clothing Store in Lititz for sixteen years. Bob loved wood working and making toys for inner-city children and received the Red Rose Award for this act of kindness. He also loved to golf, was a motorcycle enthusiast, and loved to sing. In addition to his wife, Ada, Bob is survived by two children: Debra Fivecoat, wife of Kevin, of Virginia; and Michael Bingeman, husband of Susan, of Lititz. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Daniel, Amy, Emily, Joseph and Jack; and 7 great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by three brothers: Lester, Ross, and William Bingeman. Memorial services for Bob will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Ruhl's United Methodist Cemetery, Manheim. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Bob's memory to the Good Samaritan Fund of Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17606.
