Robert L. Bell, Sr., 91, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. Born in New Brighton, PA he was the son of the late William E. and Margaret (Cook) Bell. Robert was the husband of the late Helen C. Bell who passed away March 25, 2007. Mr. Bell worked at High Steel for over 40 years. He loved woodworking and his memberships included Conestoga United Methodist Church, Odd Fellows and High Beamers. Robert proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. Surviving are two daughters: Donna J. Hull, wife of the late John Hull; Robin L. Rohrbaugh, wife of Roger, and son, Robert L. Bell, Jr., companion of Wendy Glick, all of Lancaster. Also surviving are four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a brother, Earl Bell of Beaver Falls, PA. He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Riverview Burial Park.
