Robert E. Barnes, 92, of Lititz, PA, passed away at Neffsville Nursing and Rehabilitation on Thursday, April 18, 2024. His wife, Freida (Albright) Barnes passed away in 2012, one day shy of their 52nd wedding anniversary. He was born in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Wilson G. and Marguerite (Hoffman) Barnes.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War with the 3003 34th Engineer Company doing base photomapping. Robert worked as a supervisor at the former Southern Container. He was a Buffalo Bills fan and he enjoyed reading Mysteries.

Surviving are his sons: David J. of Ephrata, and John R. of Lititz; daughter Susan Pisciello of Florida, granddaughter Jennifer Brown of Florida, and his sister. Sharon Roy wife of John of Lockport, NY. In addition to wife Frieda, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Emerson Barnes, husband of the late Donna.

Services will be private.
