Rita A. Eshbach, 89, formerly of Millersville, died Wednesday, November, 17, 2010 at Moravian Manor. She was the wife of the late Henry K. Eshbach who died in 1987.

Born in Lancaster, Rita was the daughter of the late Fred J. and Katherine Gessner. A homemaker, she had worked for Spencer Gifts at Park City. Rita was an active lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Millersville V.F.W. Post 7294 and the Susquehanna American Legion Post 135 in Perryville, MD.

Rita is survived by five children, Frederick J. Hess, Akron, Yvonne, wife of Kevin Kranz, Southern Califonia, Mary Eshbach, Lititz, Harry K. Eshbach, Lancaster and Helen A., wife of Richard Shaub, Lancaster, her grandson Benjamin Eshbach, granddaughter Mary Eshbach and her great-granddaughter Zada Eshbach.

The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Moravian Manor for the love and care they showed Rita.

A Viewing will take place Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 from 11 AM to 12 PM, followed by the Funeral at 12 PM, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA.  Pastor Steve D. Doutrich will officiate. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park. Please omit flowers.
