Richard S. Yarnell passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. He was the husband of the late Doris (King) Yarnell. He was born in 1929 to the late Sarah (Hess) and Joseph S. Yarnell. Richard was a graduate of McCaskey High School. Richard served in the Navy from 1946 to 1948. He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Richard is survived by his brother in law, Robert (Jackie) King of Lancaster and his nieces Tamara (Jay) Miller of Lancaster and Sandra Rawhauser of Lancaster. In addition to his parents and first wife, Eleanor Almond, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Swartz, and his siblings, Ralph Yarnell and Raymond Yarnell. Friends and family are respectfully invited to his burial on Tuesday, April 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 2nd Lock Road, Lancaster, PA 17603.
