Richard N. Walter, 85, of Lititz, passed on Thursday, July 13, 2023.

Born in Lititz, he was the son of the late Ralph and Marie Hoover Walter. He was the loving husband of Melva, with whom he celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.

Richard worked as an electrical engineer for Wibur Chocolate for 24 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork and most of all his family.

Surviving are his children, Rick and his wife Cindy and Deb Rittenbaugh, all of Lititz; a granddaughter Amy Sue Bomberger and her husband, Matthew; and two great grandchildren, Adelyn Rose and Nolan Richard Bomberger.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lester, Donald, Nevin, Dorothy, and Jane.
