Richard "Chippy" Schoen, 56, died at home in Landisville on Sunday, January 15, 2012. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Richard C. Schoen and is survived by two sisters.

For the past 12 years Chippy lived with and received wonderful care from Andrea and Rodney Leonard, and their sons Abraham, Matthew and Joshua, through Keystone Human Services. The caring staff of Partners in Achieving Independence in Lancaster was also part of his life. Chippy enjoyed playing the bongo drums.
