Richard Thurston "Rikki" Newell, 50, Lancaster, passed away on October 30, 2018. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William T. and Nancy B. (Ferrara) Newell. He was the boyfriend of Colleen Curry. Rick worked most of his life as a roofer. He was a very talented musician, playing guitar and drums. He was a member of several bands in the Lancaster area. Rikki loved spending time with Colleen's three sons and granddaughter Lily. He is survived by his sister, Lisa C. Wolfe, of Lancaster and a nephew Matthew T. Wolfe, of Brooklyn, NY. He is preceded in death by his brother Stephen W. Newell. A gathering will take place at the 521 Club 2400 Butter Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601 on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 11:30AM-2:00PM.
