Richard G. Haertter, 81, of West Hempfield township, PA, passed on November 3, 2024. Born in Columbia, PA. He was the son of the late Richard and Loretta (Roth) Haertter. He was the loving husband of Celeste Goldman Haertter with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Richard attended Lancaster Catholic High School and graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School, Class of 1961.

He worked at Kellog's in Landisville, PA for many years before retiring.

Richard was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf and watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

In addition to his wife, Celeste, he is survived by two sons: Rocco Haertter (Josianne Aboutanos) of Laflin, Pa. and Ross (Ana Haertter) of Boca Raton, FL, and by his four beloved grandchildren: Krystal, Brandon, Tommy and Dakota. He is also survived by his brother, Joe Haertter of Lancaster, PA. Richard loved his family deeply, and cherished all the time he could spend with his wife, sons and grandchildren. He will always be loved and will never be forgotten.

Service will be private and at the convenience of his family.
