Richard Formica, 59, formerly of Mount Joy, PA, passed away at ManorCare, Lancaster on Wednesday, March 31, 20201. He was born in Hazleton, PA, to the late Carmen N. and Lorraine (Buckta) Formica.

A graduate of Manheim Township High School, Richard worked as a cook. He is survived by a son, Sebastian Myers Formica of Lancaster; and six siblings: Ellie, wife of Michael Hennessey of Cranberry Township, PA, Carmine, wife of Todd Zima of Lancaster, P, Carmen G. Formica, husband of Christine of Elizabethtown, PA, D. Thomas Formica, husband of Sharon of Wilkes-Barre, PA, David C. Formica, husband of Sharon of Leola, PA, and Joseph J. Formica of Lititz, PA In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister Maryann Harris who died in 2000.

Private interment will take place in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery on April 9, 2021.
