Richard W. Boyer Jr., 51, of Lancaster, died on July 6, 2007 at his residence. Born in Lebanon , he was the son of the late Richard  W. and Anna M. (Pieffer) Boyer. He was the husband of Kay E. ( Porter) Boyer.

Mr. Boyer was formerly employed as a truck driver with Burris, Conestoga Trucking and Oehme. He raced Micro Sprints at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway in Brickerville Pa..  He was an avid golfer.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter Amanda K. Hackart of Drumore Pa.; three  grandchildren, Devin, Andrew, Alyssa; a sister Beth Ann Mitten of Lititz; and a step sister Judy Kissinger of Lebanon Pa.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, at 7PM. Friends may be received from 6PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richards's father's memory to Hospice of Lancaster County  685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster PA. 17604-4125.
