Richard R. Ault, Jr., 73, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital. Dick and his wife Margaret A. "Peggy" Biemesderfer Ault celebrated their 51 ^st wedding anniversary last July 8 ^th .

The son of the late Richard R., Sr. and Esther Sourbeer Ault, Dick was born in Lancaster. He served in the US Army right after the Korean War and then worked at ITT Grinnell in Columbia. Dick was then a custodian for the School District of Lancaster. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Dick enjoyed watching his great-grandchildren participate in little league sports.

Surviving in addition to his wife Peggy are his daughter Debbie White Buffalo (David), Lancaster, grandchildren Melissa and Shaun (Amber) Miller, Mount Joy, 8 great-grandchildren and his siblings Kenneth (Barbara), Lampeter, Allen (Wanda) New Providence and Lisa, Florida. Dick was predeceased by his sisters Joan Hutchinson and Ethel, Shirley and Donna Ault.

A Viewing will take place on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 10-11 AM and the Funeral at 11 AM, with The Rev. Steven R. Bowser officiating, at Ascension Lutheran Church.
