Regina V. Trolsen, 95, of The Glen at Willow Valley, Lancaster, PA and formerly of Newburgh, NY passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019. Regina was born January 10, 1922 to the late Stanley and Helen Feliska (Piotrowski) Vnook. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anne Trolsen Carducci and one grandchild. Regina and her husband, Thor, resided at Willow Valley Retirement Community for 16 years. Regina was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, Class of 1940. She was a Registered Nurse, a graduate of Ellis Hospital School of Nursing, and taught in the LPN program. Regina loved to travel to Europe and Japan with Thor where their oldest granddaughter resides. Regina is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Thor N. Trolsen; and her seven grandchildren, and a host of several other family members. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603 with The Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel as Celebrant. Friends and family are invited to a viewing 30 minutes prior to Mass. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY at 12PM on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
