IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Regina P.
Fanelli Swift Scheetz
November 16, 2018
Regina P. Fanelli Swift Scheetz, 78, of Millersville, found peace while surrounded by her loving family at home on November 16, 2018. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul V. Fanelli and Catherine (Butts) Fanelli. A long-time employee of Kellogg's, Regina worked in the factory until her retirement in 2003. After retirement, she worked for the Lancaster Barnstormers as an usher and volunteered her time as a docent at Wheatland. A fan of sports, Regina loved the excitement of going to sporting events, especially if it meant that she could cheer on the Barnstormers, Penn State, or for her grandchildren. Known for always having too many plants, she spent lots of time outside tending to her garden and watching the birdhouses and hummingbird feeders. To relax, she would read history and mystery novels. One of Regina's favorite daily activities was going out to lunch with her sister and friends. Regina wanted to pass along a special thank you to her sister Catherine, for all the sacrifices that she has made to be her dedicated caregiver. Regina is survived by her children; Vickie Albright (John), David Swift, and Michael Scheetz (Vicki), her grandchildren; Veronica Jones (Allan), Emily Albright, Christina Leiphart (Nelson), and Joey Swift, and six beautiful great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Paul Fanelli Jr. (Laural) of Colorado Springs, CO and Joseph Fanelli (Karen) of Lewes, DE, and her sister Catherine Fanelli (Bob Secker). A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:30 am at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory located at 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA 17551. There will be a Viewing prior to the service starting at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to an animal rescue of your choice.
