Raymond "Ray" W. Deater, Jr., 76, of Lititz, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Born in Ephrata, PA he was the son of Betty Virginia (Kreider) and Raymond W. Deater, Senior. He was the beloved husband to Sharyn (Miller) with whom he celebrated almost 58 years of marriage.

Prior to retirement, Ray worked at Alumax and Alcoa. He was a talented artisan creating custom fishing rods. He was known throughout Lancaster County for his work. He enjoyed customizing Ford vehicles and loved to work in his rose garden.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Tammie (Alan) of Stark of Ephrata.

Interment will be private in Brownstown Evangelical Congregational Cemetery.
