Through many tears, the family of Raymond Vasile, announce his passing on April 22, 2026, at his home. He was 75. He was born on April 5, 1951 to Pietro and Francesca Vasile, in Cattolica Eraclea, Italy.

With over 40 years of service as an electronics technician, he most recently lent his expertise to ISC. For more than three decades, he also managed operations at Weis Markets on Millersville Pike, exemplifying the qualities of kindness and generosity that defined his character. Ray was a man who understood the value of sacrifice; he tirelessly provided for his loved ones, ensuring that their needs were met above his own. Ray found joy in the simplest moments—whether it was reminiscing about his family, or passionately exploring his family's genealogy. His reflections on the past were a testament to the rich tapestry of his life and the deep connections that anchored him.

Ray’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him including his daughters, Francesca Vasile, wife of Joseph Stepp and Maria Vasile, all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Josie Alexander, Devon Best and Aliya Best; and siblings, Filippo Vasile, Vincenzo Vasile, and Josephine Smith. He was preceded in passing by his parents and a sister, Rosa Spinelli. The Vasile family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Ray's life. A public viewing will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. in Millersville on April 29, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
