Raymond L. Carlson, 80, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Monday morning, December 3, 2012 at his residence.

Born in Racine, WI, he was the husband of Harriet (Anclam) Carlson of Lancaster, and the son of the late Carl and Helen (Ellefson) Carlson.

Raymond was an avid golfer who loved to travel.

He was employed for a number of years by Sperry Corp. and Ford-New Holland, working in their sales and marketing departments.

He was of the Presbyterian faith.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by two daughters:  Cynthia S. Smith and her husband Robert L. of Rio Rancho, NM and Diana L. Carlson of Lancaster; two sons:  David M. Carlson and his wife Nancy L. of Lancaster and Richard S. Carlson and his wife Tamara L. of Lancaster; and four grandsons.  He was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 140 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA  17602 with Rev. Dr. Donald W. Hackett officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.  Burial will be private.
