Obituary

Raymond T. Buggy, 84, of 900 E. King Street, Lancaster, died Saturday at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Williamstown, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Catherine McNamara Buggy. Raymond was the husband of the late Mary V. Lynch Buggy who died in 1968.

Mr. Buggy was a Police Lieutenant for the former Pennsylvania Railroad, now Conrail, for 34 years, retiring in 1981. He was a founding member of the American Legion in Williamstown. During World War II, he served in the 9 th armored division in Rhineland Ardennes and Central Europe.

Surviving is a son, Tim McNamara, of Lancaster, and a grandson, Brendan McNamara, of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a brother, James, and four sisters; Rita, Ethel, Catherine and Anne.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Williamstown,  on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Williamstown, PA.
