Raymond Walter Barber, of 2206 James Buchanan Drive, Elizabethtown, PA. Born 10-19-21, departed this world, 7-6-15. Survived by his wife, Lois Estelle Barber; his son Raymond John Barber husband of Deborah and grandson, Christopher Raymond Barber; his son Jonathan Thorpe Barber husband of Maria and grandson Jonathan Jay Barber. Educated at Thaddeus Stevens Trade School as a machinist, Kutztown State Teachers College and Temple University with a MS in Education. His work history included teaching at Patton School For Boys for 6 years, Guidance Counselor for 2 years, and Pupil Services Director at Middle Country School District for 20 years. Raymond was a proud US Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a Watertender Mate Third Class. In lieu of flowers, Raymond requests contributions to Masonic Charities of Pennsylvania, Office of Gift Planning, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 or to the Thaddeus Stevens Foundation, 740 East End Ave., Lancaster, PA 17602.
