Ramonita Garcia, 81, of Lancaster, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family who was singing her home.

Born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Candelario Alicea and Carmen Alicea-Garcia.

Ramonita was a cherished woman of deep faith. Her unwavering devotion to God guided her life, and her family was her greatest joy and closest treasure. Ramonita found pure happiness in family gatherings, especially when she could hear her loved ones sing together. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she made every effort to be present for their milestones and celebrations. A gifted gardener with a green thumb, Ramonita's love for nature shone brightly in her beautiful plants and her joy in feeding and watching birds. Her heart was as generous as it was warm, touching the lives of everyone who knew her.

Ramonita is survived by her sisters, Cruz Elisa Alicea and Lydia Hudek.

She is also survived by her children:

Daughter- Ruth (Luis) Rosa and their children, Denise (Ryan) and Kimberly.

Daughter- Carmen (Timothy) Martin and their children, Joshua (Leah), Zachary (Beth) and Marisa.

Daughter- Rosalyn (Rafael) Santana and their children Cassandra (Randy), Emily, Nina and Rachel.

Son- Jose (Neida) Garcia, Jr.

She is also survived by her great-grandchildren-James, Alexis, Hope, Natalie, Jacob, Rosaleigh, Raelynn, and Emet.

Friends and family will be received from 11AM to 12PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at New Providence Church of God, 269 Cinder Rd., New Providence, PA 17560. A memorial service will follow beginning at 12PM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
