Ralph Charles Hohman, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement. Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of the late Anna (Royer) and Ralph Charles Hohman, Sr. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, for over 50 years, Virginia "Ginny" (Moffett) in 2002. He retired as an Electrical Engineer from Iceland Seafood. He previously was employed by Posey Ironworks and Empire Kosher Poultry. Ralph was a member of the American Legion Post 34 and the Lancaster Sportsman's Club. Ralph enjoyed surf-fishing, clamming and hunting. He could be found feeding and watching the local wildlife. He was the go to fix it man for those who knew him. Most of all Ralph loved to spend time with his family. They enjoyed family vacations to Ocean City, Maryland and the annual 4th of July party. Ralph is survived by his daughter, Tammy Wiseman, wife of Bill, of Forest Hill, MD; his grandchildren: William "Dave" Wiseman, Jr., husband of Andrea, of Parkville, MD; Laura Wolcott, wife of Jesse, of Dundalk, MD; and 2 great-grandchildren: Will and Bryan. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM with a funeral service to begin at 11 AM on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602.
