Quirino Adam "Pepsi" DiCola, Jr., 91, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Quirino, Sr. and Mary Rose (Carello). He was married for over 72 years to his beloved wife, Jennie E. (Sapone) DiCola.
Quirino attended J.P. McCaskey High School and later worked for Miller & Hartman Inc. for over 43 years as a truck driver and in the warehouse. He was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Lancaster. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Centerville AARP 4221, 8th Ward Beneficial Association, and the Lancaster Italian Cultural Society. Quirino was also an avid fan of Penn State and enjoyed attending their football games. He also loved spending time with his family and friends, and will be affectionately remembered for his sweet tooth.
In addition to his wife Jennie, he is survived by 4 children: Linda Marie Commale (Louis, Jr.), Quirino A. DiCola, III, Vincent F. DiCola, Francis J. DiCola (Stephanie); 5 grandchildren: Anthony and Justin Commale, Michelle Khoury, Jennifer Matos, Emily DiCola; and 8 great-grandchildren: Katherine, Joseph, Logan, Brayden, Madelyn, Miranda, Hannah, and Ella. He was predeceased by a sister, Joanna, and brother, Francis.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 10-11 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St, Millersville, with a memorial service to begin at 11 AM. Interment will immediately follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
