IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Priscilla H.
Wade
September 26, 2018
Priscilla H. Wade, 89, of Manheim Township, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. She was born in Lancaster to the late Edwin and Mary (Albright) Smuck.
The loving wife of Edward H. Wade for 66 years, Priscilla and Ed were together since age 16, except for when Ed served in the Army in the Korean War.
A wonderful homemaker for her family, Priscilla was an excellent cook and baker. She baked special cookies and pies and kept the house spotless for her family. She had fresh flowers around the house and candy for her grandchildren. Priscilla was very active in her grandchildren's lives.
A selfless lady, Priscilla strove to please everyone. Family was her life. Priscilla and Ed were inseparable. They enjoyed getting in the car and going wherever they ended up. They also enjoyed walking together and trips to Ocean City, MD and Promised Land State Park in the Poconos. The family camped many places over the years.
Having a deep faith, she enjoyed watching Charles Stanley and Jimmy Swaggart.
In addition to Ed, Priscilla is survived by her daughter Patty Gregorio of Intercourse, daughter Barbara A. Boll, wife of Steve Smucker of East Earl and son Joseph H. Wade, husband of Caryl of Willow Street; six grandchildren: Major Bradford Wade, husband of Kelsey, Bennett Gregorio, companion of Ambur, Jesse Gregorio, husband of Natasha, Ryan Boll, husband of Arielle, Jacob Wade and Zachary Wade; and four great-grandchildren: Jeslynne, Remington and Norah Gregorio and Luuka Gregorio.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her son Edward L. Wade in 2009 and several of her siblings.
