Phyllis B. Wagner, 88, of Lititz, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at United Zion Retirement Community. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was the wife of the late Fred E. Wagner who passed away in 2008. She was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Thelma Z. (Sweet) Briggs. Phyllis was a devoted member of the Lititz Moravian Church where she also served as financial secretary and was a member of the choir. Phyllis was also a member of the Fiddlers Green Camping Club, Soiree Dance Club, Moravian Manor Lamp Lighters, and the Moravian Music Foundation. She was also a Girl Scout leader. Phyllis is survived by a daughter; Connie W. Lawrence of Lititz, one son; Richard K. Wagner of Lancaster, one granddaughter; Janel C. Good (Matthew) of Lititz, two great-grandchildren; Christine R. Parr (Taylor) and Conner M. Good, and two great-great grandchildren; Emory J. and Quinton M. Parr, one sister-in-law; Charlotte Briggs. In addition to her husband Fred, she was preceded in death by a brother; Charles W. Briggs, Jr. and a sister-in-law; Joanne M. Wagner. Relative and friends are respectfully invited to attend Phyllis's Celebration of Life service at the Lititz Moravian Church, 8 Church Square, Lititz on Saturday April 30, 2016 at 11AM. A visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 10-11AM. Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
