Phyllis Ann Stephenson, 68, of Lancaster, passed away on April 18, 2014. Born in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Lila (Speicher) Stephenson. She is survived by 1 sister, Mary E. Yarnal and 6 nieces and nephews, John S. Stephenson, Daniel K. Stephenson, Frank Yarnal, Stephanie Van Deusen, Shawnne Welch and Sharlynn Mavrich, and 5 great nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Ian, and Jack Van Deusen and Hannah and Madeline Welch. Phyllis was preceded in death by a brother, John H. Stephenson.

Phyllis worked 25 years for Shortway Products in Clearfield County followed by 22 years as a certified nurse's aide at Moravian Manor in Lititz, PA. At the Manor, she treated each resident she cared for with dignity and compassion, carrying out her duties with steadfastness. Phyllis will be remembered as a meticulous and faithful caretaker who selflessly placed the needs of others before her own. She will be missed by her friends and family, to whom she was tirelessly devoted. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with Rev. Paul Yarnal officiating. There will be a viewing beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Landis Valley Cemetery.
