Philip A. Randisi, 86, of Leola, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the loving husband of Jessie (Guaragna) Randisi to whom he would be married for 64 years on April 26th.
Born in York, PA he was the son of the late Vito and Mary (Camizzi) Randisi.
Phil proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, where he served as a Military air policeman. Phil was self-employed as a Barber at Phil's Barber Shop, 13 E. Lemon St. Lancaster, PA. Phil was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball. He was a former member of the Old Italian American Citizens Club. He truly treasured being with his family and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed having his family come over to his home because he loved spending time together.
In addition to his loving wife, Jessie, he is survived by his four children; Phil Randisi of Lancaster, PA, Mary Jane wife of Dennis C. Sweigart of Mount Joy, PA, John Randisi of Tacoma, Washington, and Linda R. Banzhof wife of Jeffrey of Lititz, PA, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one brother; Dominic Randisi husband of Brenda of Lancaster, PA. Philip was preceded in death by his two sisters; Concetta Mirasola and Theresa Cucuzella.
There will be a visitation at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 6-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 at 11AM. A second viewing will be held at the church from 10-11AM. Entombment in the mausoleum will follow in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Philip may be made to Hospice & Community Care; P.O Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
