Peter Edward Adams, 76, of Lancaster and formerly of Norwalk CT died Wednesday, Dec 17, 2008 at the Rheems Nursing and Rehab Center after a lengthy illness. Born December 18, 1931 in Norwalk, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Margaret Fagan Adams. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Laurence J. Adams and a sister, Patricia Adams Gill.

He is survived by his sisters in law, Ann and Marguerite both of  Lancaster; five nieces; Katherine Gill wife of John Breuer, Chicago, Debora Gill wife of John  McCarthy , Takoma Park, MD, Patricia Adams wife of Earl Smith, Severna Park , MD, Mary Colleen Adams Brett, Curwensville, PA, Marguarite Vaughan wife of Anthony Axe, Kernersville NC., Five Nephews; Dr Laurence Adams husband of Michelle Dussinger, Colorado Springs, CO, James Adams husband of Christine Wiker, Lancaster, Rev. Dennis Adams husband of Carol Spracher, Grantville, Dr. Brian Adams husband of Anne Heberlein, Lancaster, Thomas St. John Vaughan, Lancaster, and twenty one great nieces and nephews and one great, great, niece.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church 2111 Millersville  Pike, Lancaster on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 11:00AM. There will be a viewing from 10:00-11:00AM at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in St John New Catholic Church, Norwalk CT on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 12:00 Noon.
