Pedro Josè Bouret, 66, of Denver, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Friday, January 21, 2022. He was the loving Husband of Lydia (Rivera) Bouret.
Born on July 11, 1955 in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, Pedro was the son of the late Pedro Maria and Olga Lidia (Diaz) Bouret. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Angela Diaz.
Pedro lived in Brooklyn much of his life until moving to Lancaster County 3 years ago. He was a member of Iglesia Evangelica Misionera of Brooklyn and then joined Iglesia Evangelica Misionera of Lebanon after moving. He was active with both churches, having coordinated food programs and serving as an usher. He loved serving his community, having coordinated three Food Banks, and would volunteer his time even after falling ill. In his spare time, Pedro enjoyed watching sports- Boxing and Baseball in particular. He also loved weightlifting and trained as a natural bodybuilder. He also loved repairing and driving racecars at the track.
In addition to his wife, Pedro is survived by his son, Edgardo Josè Bouret; his daughter, Emily M. Ramos; his granddaughter Amara Kayleen Ramos; his brothers, Giovanni Bouret and Fernando Diaz; his sister, Lillian Bouret; his sister-in-law, Maria Lugay; his mother-in-law, Demetria Matias; as well as nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory at 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Committal will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or 7-800-227-2345; or to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org or 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
