Pauline S. Katchmer of Millersville died at the age of 93 on February 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Katchmer, a former football and baseball coach at Millersville State College. Pauline was a basketball star at Cornwall High School, and was voted the best female athlete in the school's history. She enjoyed sports, bridge, and bingo. She was always a tough competitor. For many years she served as an inspector of elections in Millersville Boro.  She was a member of Millersville University Campus Club. She was an intelligent woman who was devoted to her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Paula; 3 sons, George (Holly), John, and Michael (Fran Huber); and 6 grandsons, Peter, Brian, Mitchell Jewell, Douglas Jewell, Nicholas and Andrew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster 17603 with Rev. Mark E. Weiss as Celebrant. The Family will greet friends at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass.  Please omit flowers.  Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105.
