Paulene J. (Snyder) Arcudi, 88, of Lititz, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cresswell, she was the wife of the late Santo S. Arcudi, whom she met while working at the Hubley Toy Co. in Lancaster, and fell in love while dancing and rollerskating. He died September 27, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Jonas L. and Loretta (Mann) Snyder. An active, loving mother and wife, Paulene could always be seen working in her garden or doing yardwork. She enjoyed camping, golf, bowling, reading, and crossword puzzles. Both she and Santo were avid swimmers, and her children fondly recall summer trips to the beach. Paulene was an avid cook and baker, and was happy to volunteer her time at Lancashire Hall. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lancaster. Paulene is survived by a son, Anthony D. Arcudi and his wife P. Michelle of Lititz; a daughter, Jeanette M. Arcudi of Lititz with whom she resided; 4 grandchildren: Brian, Mark, Jason, and Elizabeth; 4 great-grandchildren: Penny Linn Arcudi, Desiree J. Keperling, and Jonathan D. and Chloe A. Arcudi; a brother, Robert Snyder (Mabel); and 3 sisters: Arlene Schaeffer (Bob), Sylvia Snyder (Carl), and Sarah "Sally" Osisek. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Horace and Russell Snyder. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St, Millersville with Rev. Jean Christman officiating. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster.
