It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Paula Fellenbaum – loving wife and mother of two – passed away early Wednesday morning at the age of 56.

She joins her parents (Robert Worthington, Elizabeth Snyder, and Robert Snyder) and sister (Denise Worthington) in heavenly rest. She is survived by her husband of 33 years (Gary Fellenbaum II), sons (Gary Fellenbaum III and Robert Fellenbaum), and sisters (Janice Menkevich and Jamie Snyder).

Paula lived abundantly, bravely, and with an inner strength few possess. Those who knew her best will remember the way her infectious laughter filled a room – and our lives – with joy.

While no room will ever be the same without her light to warm it, we who loved her have been given a beautiful gift: the gift of having known and loved a truly beautiful soul. As the world turns, we move forward with that light, her light, in our hearts and in our memories.

We remember a sister who had a heart of pure gold. A mother who would move mountains for her boys. A woman who was passionate. A human who had an infinite amount of love to give. We remember a rocker who turned up the radio, a dedicated daughter who was never afraid to roll up her sleeves, and a foodie who – most importantly – always packed a lunch.

And while we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace. And having a hell of a homecoming party.
