Paul Petzold, 57, of Lancaster, PA, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 surrounded in love by his closest family. Paul is survived by his mother, Dolores "Dorie" Petzold; loving wife of 33 years, Brenda Petzold; 2 sons: Christopher Heller and his husband Ryan, and Craig Heller and his wife Nicole; sister Janet Wood; three grandchildren, Celia and the twins. Paul celebrated thirty years as a dedicated employee at R.R. Donnelly. A big guy with a big heart, Paul loved spending time with family most of all, including the other two ladies in his life – Maddie and Leah, his Great Pyrenees pups. Paul was undoubtedly a man who walked to the beat of his own drum; wore shorts in the winter, blasted rock music, could fix just about anything, had an insatiable love for Mustangs, gave the best bear hugs and, most importantly, had an effortless ability to make anyone smile. Paul was one-of-a-kind. He will be greatly missed but always remembered, especially when a good Guns N' Roses song comes on. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with Pastor Mark Thiboldeaux officiating. Friends and family will be received 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
