Dr. Paul DeWitt Lowery, aged 94, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 12, 2025. He was the son of Ira and Hazel (Clark) Lowery. Paul and his late wife Sara (Brubaker) served the Lord as missionaries in Guatemala, Central America, for 43 years and Paul for an additional 7 years after her death. His main ministry was as a professor at the Central American Theological Seminary (SETECA) in Guatemala City.

Paul is survived by his wife of 17 years, Rosa Nelly (Montenegro), New Holland, PA; his children: Michael Lowery, Leola, PA; Linda, married to Danilo Bardales, Mesquite, TX; Sandra, married to Patricio Paredes, Leola, PA; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Fred and Bob Lowery and his daughter Brenda, married to Antonio Vásquez, Ephrata, PA.

His passion in life was his Lord, his family and teaching God's Word. He was witty and humorous to the end. Jogging, fishing, golfing and reading were favorite pastimes. He was a faithful member of Calvary Church and the Koinonia Hispanic Ministry.

All are invited to his Memorial Service on Thurs, Mar 20 at Calvary Church (1051 Landis Valley Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601); 5 pm visitation; 6 pm service.
