Paul E. Leberfinger, 80, of Lititz, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Hollidaysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Godfrey and Catherine (Steiner) Leberfinger. Paul was the husband of the late DonnaMarie C. (Grimminger) Leberfinger with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage. Paul was a conductor and brakeman until he retired after 35 years of service with Conrail. He was also an awesome auto mechanic. Paul was a hard worker and would do anything to support his family. He was a quiet man and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are three daughters: Theresa M. Leberfinger, Paula R. Mishler and Heather L. Wade. He is survived by brothers, Robert Leberfinger and Donald Leberfinger. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Lawrence M. Leberfinger, Anna Jean Burns and Helen E. Eckley. A viewing will take place from 7-9 PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Viewing will continue from 2-3 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial being held at 3 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave, Lititz, PA 17543. Paul will be laid to rest at 11 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Calvary Cemetery, 2417 Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
