Patrick Jerry "Pat" Toomey, 79, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Dr. John Toomey and Shirley (Straw) Bleecher, and stepson of the late Elmer Bleecher. He was married to Toni M. Toomey prior to her passing in 2020.

Pat was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. He worked as a carpenter for over 52 years with the Harrisburg Carpenters Union. Pat was an extremely hardworking and always wanted to provide for his family. He enjoyed being home, his dogs, spending time with his family, and restoring classic cars. Pat had a great sense of humor, the kindest heart, and was extremely intelligent. He will be sorely missed.

Pat is survived by his children: Dr. David Toomey, Elizabeth "Liz" Toomey Rivera (Jorge), Kathleen Toomey Hoffman, Joseph Toomey, Tami Newborg (JB), and Sabrina Roark; brothers John Toomey and Mark Bleecher (Dawn), 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Whitehead, and sister-in-law Mary Jane Toomey.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
