Patricia M. Trees, 78, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at LGH. Born in Presque Isle, ME, she was the daughter of the late Irvin J. and Clara M. (Desjarden) Cote-Gardner. She was married to Charles J. Trees, III, and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past June. She devoted her life to being a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and taking care of her family. Patricia was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Lancaster. She will be lovingly remembered by her 3 daughters, Cheryl Ann, wife of David Underwood, Theresa M. Trees, Nancy J., wife of Lawrence Sheckler, and son, John Charles, husband of Jessica Schwankl. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her 6 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St, Lancaster, PA with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as Celebrant. A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's New Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
