Patricia "Pat" Rodriguez, 96, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Penn State Lancaster Medical Center. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Candido Ramos and Anna Maria Morales. She was the wife of the late Angelo Rodriguez who passed away in 2007.

She was a social worker in NY for over 23 years before moving to Lancaster. Pat served as the first Spanish woman Eucharistic minister in the Brentwood, Long Island, NY area.

Pat was a very active member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church where she served as the sacristan for many years.

She is survived by her children: Hector Rodriguez Camara of PA, Angelo Rodriguez, Jr. of FL, Camille wife of Bob Nelson of PA, and Maritza Rivera of FL. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Rodriguez, and all her siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30AM on Friday, March 1, 2024 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA. Interment will follow in St. Josephs New Catholic cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10AM until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat's memory may be made to Adorers of the Blood of Christ, 4233 Sulphur Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109 or to the church at the above address.
