Patricia Ann Pontz-Colson, 76, of 140 E. Walnut St., Lancaster, died Sunday at her home.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Howard A. and Catherine M. Flora Rohm. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Colson who died in 1997.

Pat was an entrepreneur of several businesses in Lancaster County and was an insurance representative for AFLAC insurance for 15 years. She was the former director of the March of Dimes and organized the first March of Dimes Walk-a-thon in Lancaster. Pat enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ and was an avid volunteer there.

Surviving are her four children, Drew F. Pontz, married to Roseanna of Glenmoore, PA, Craig H. Pontz, married to Jaynie M. of Dauphin, PA, Brad D. Pontz of Etters, PA, Fawn L. Pontz of Lancaster, 6 grandchildren, Michelle, Trevor, Brooke, Cody, Dylan, and Cassi and 1 great grandson, Devon. Also surviving are three sisters, Lillian M., married to Rev. Joseph Chuckla of Cavetown, MD, Kathleen J. Shaibley of Hatfield, PA, Carol J. Wenger of Landisville, PA and one brother, Michael L. Rohm, married to Helen A. of Lancaster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Faith United Church of Christ, 1204 Wabank Rd., Lancaster, PA 17603 on Friday, May 12, at 11AM. There will be a calling time on Thursday evening, from 6-8PM at the church. Interment will be at Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
