Patricia Ann "Patty" Pleger, 38, of Lancaster, unexpectedly entered into rest with the Lord at Lancaster General Hospital on Sunday, October 12, 2008.

Born in Lancaster, Patty was the daughter of Linda M. Snyder, and Dennis C. and Blanche S. Kaiser.  She was the beloved wife of Rick Pleger.  Patty and her husband celebrated 17 years of marriage on September 28, 2008.  She was the loving and dedicated mother of Anthony, Matthew, and Jonathan Pleger.

Patty was a lifelong member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.  She was a graduate of St. Joseph Parochial School.  Patty was a 1988 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.  She was a member of the LCHS marching band in the silk unit.  Patty was employed for 16 years by Lancaster General Hospital as a unit clerk on the Pediatric floor, and was recently employed by Protech Marketing as a research analyst and the sales department.

Patty was known for her joy of life, and bringing her family together with camping trips, bowling, and bingo.  A devoted mother, Patty's life revolved around her sons; she enjoyed watching them participate in their sports.  She will be remembered for her homemade peanut butter cream eggs that will be missed by family and friends.

In addition to her parents, husband, and children, Patty is survived by her siblings, Debra Ream, Jennifer, wife of Jeff Myers, Suzanne, wife of Andy Rohrbach, Michael, husband of Shawn Weaver, Christine, wife of Michael Newcomer, and Elizabeth, wife of Bert Nye, 4 nephews, 7 nieces, 4 great nieces, and 2 great nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Msgr. Thomas H. Smith as Celebrant.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E.
