Parvin

Shadman

Obituary

Our precious mother, Parvin Shadman, got her wings and went to walk with the angels at 12:14am on Christmas morning, Saturday, December 25, 2021, while residing in her own home. Her strength, her love and her will fought hard for months to stay with her family, she left on her own terms at 83 years old. She devoted her life to her children and was more than happy to be called "mamon".

Parvin, born in Shiraz, Iran on March 29, 1938, was the daughter of Shah Solton and Mohamad Shadman.

Persistence, hard work, and countless sacrifices allowed her to overcome hardships in Iran and come to America to provide a better life for her children. Life always threw different challenges her way, but she always persevered regardless of the obstacles. Her incredible social nature and ability to connect with anyone on a tender level, left heartfelt memories for anyone she came across. Parvin's smile, quick wit and saying her 3 favorite words: "I love you" made every moment with her, precious.

Parvin was the last remaining sibling of her 2 sisters (Letafat & Aksi) and 2 brothers (Aziz & Habib). Her first marriage was to Zia Golpoushan, with whom she had 5 children. Her eldest son, Siahmak Golpoushan died back in her homeland due to complications from the war in 1992.

Surviving her are her children: Nasrin Golpoushan, Sousan Collins, Siavash Golpoushan (daughter-in-law Parisa Zarei) and Ladan Carson (son-in-law Michael Carson).

Her second marriage was to Habib Sharifi. Surviving her are her children: Nadia Sharifi, and Hamid Sharifi (daughter-in-law Negar Farzammehr & her mother Nahed Farzammehr).

Surviving grand-children: Bahareh Shahvaran (first grandchild born in Iran), Ashley Collins (first grandchild born in the United States), Leila Carson, William Carson, Arash Golpoushan, Parnia Golpoushan, Kieana Sharifi, and Rayan Sharifi.

Parvin's wish: "After my passing, I want my family to live, be healthy, be happy and most of all, be good to each other. We came to America together and our family love must continue to grow stronger".

Her family will gather privately to honor and celebrate her life on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Lititz, PA at 11:00 am before proceeding to Silver Springs Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.

Ya-khodah, please receive Parvin into your open arms and keep her eternally in heaven above with you. May our "mamon" rest in peace.
