Palma Biancheria Valeri (Pam), born on December 13, 1939, in Worcester, MA, passed away on October 27, 2016, at age 76 after a long illness. A resident of Worcester until 1995, Pam spent more than twenty years in sunny Sacramento, CA, until finally relocating to Lancaster, PA, to be closer to her family. Pam loved being surrounded by her family and treasured good food, family cookouts, champagne, and shopping for new outfits. She also enjoyed flowers, bird watching, painting, and movies. She especially loved listening to, and singing with fervor, songs from the Great American Song Book. On numerous occasions, she was caught on video singing a Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley tune. Pam's life embodied perseverance—always defying the odds and never giving up. Her good sense of humor and beautiful smile radiated warmth and love to all. "Smile though your heart is aching, smile even though it's breaking . . . You'll see the sun come shining through . . ." Pam is survived by two daughters, Debra (Valeri) Hamilton and Rhonda Valeri, two grandchildren, Michael Hamilton and Kaitlyn Hamilton, one brother, Anteo Biancheria, three nieces, Christine Biancheria, Diana Biancheria, Brenda (Biancheria) Raffa, one nephew, John Biancheria, and her dear friend Ken Giglio. She is predeceased by her brother, Amilcare Biancheria, and her other nephew, Damien Biancheria.
