Oliver J. Ogden, 74, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016 at his home. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon of 29 years, and 4 children and 8 grandchildren of Long Island, NY.

Oliver was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Perpetual Adoration, and an Oblate of St. Benedict. He loved history, music, hatting, reading, turtles and many other hobbies. He was a veteran of the US Army.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster, PA. Viewings will take place 6 to 8 PM, with the Rosary at 7:30 PM, on Monday at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, and 9 to 10 AM on Tuesday at the church. Interment with Military Honors in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Meinrad Archabbey, 200 Hill Dr., St. Meinrad, IN 47579.
