Ogier S. "Ogie" Norris, Jr., 88, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away on October 20, 2024.

He was the husband of Veronica Evans Norris, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Ogier S., Sr. and Charlotte Mood Norris.

Ogier had been a drafting and engineering teacher at Stevens College of Technology for 40 years. He had also served as the school's track coach for many years.

He was a graduate of Penn State University with a BA in Industrial Arts, and was a record holding pole vaulter, just missing out on qualifying for the US Olympic Team.

Ogier was a long-time coach and manager for the Willowood Swim Club in Elizabethtown. A talented musician playing drums, flute, sax and singing, he and his wife Veronica were a musical duo known as VOduo.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Randall S. married to Kristine Norris of Pasadena, MD, Kimberly Jo married to Joseph Roberts of Edgewater, MD, and Gary A. married to Dr. Renee Norris of Elizabethtown; his 4 grandchildren: Mitchell Austin and Ryan Alexander Norris and Dalton Fisher White and Hunter Evans White; and by his brother, Dallett Norris and his husband, Bill Westbrook from New Mexico.
