Norman E. LaGueux, 93, of Luther Acres, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Born in Pawtucket, RI he was the son of the late Edward and Claudia (Benoit) LaGueux. He was the loving husband of 67 years of the late Lois E. LaGueux who passed away in 2022.

Norm graduated from the University of Rhode Island. After college, he served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1956. After discharge, he served in the Army Reserves until 1965.

Upon his discharge from the Army, Norm worked in management with New Jersey Bell Telephone (now Verizon) for over 30 years. During his career, he was active in many civic and charitable organizations including: United Way, Boy Scouts of America, New Jersey State Policemen's Benevolent Association, and nine years on the Board of Trustees of the Franciscan Health System of New Jersey.

He is survived by his children: Debra DuPrey (Joseph) of Lancaster, PA, Jeffrey LaGueux (Kimberly) of Doylestown, PA, Steven LaGueux (Dana) of Camden, DE, and Suzanne Turchetta (Steven) of Mill Hall, PA. He was a wonderful Pépère to his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Norm's memory may be made to the Luther Acres Benevolent Fund.
